This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will once again be possible
across the entire Four State Region today as we continue to deal with
an upper level trough across our region. Atmospheric moisture remains
high which suggests some locally heavy downpours will accompany this
precipitation today. While excessive heavy rainfall cannot be ruled
out today, it should not be widespread, but instead, isolated in
nature. Thus, flooding of low lying and flood prone areas will be
more isolated as well. The precipitation coverage and intensity
should diminish by late afternoon into the evening hours tonight.
Otherwise, no additional hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will once again be possible on
Sunday but precipitation coverage should just about come to an end as
we start the upcoming work week. With the end of precipitation
chances, expect hotter temperatures with readings by mid to late
week returning to the middle and upper 90s. These temperatures when
combined with relatively high afternoon humidity will result in
afternoon heat indices nearing or exceeding 105 degrees. Heat
Advisories will likely become necessary for these kind of afternoon
heat index temperatures during the upcoming work week.
